Where are you?
I want to hold you, but you are not here.
I want a reason to stop crying and start smiling.
Just a sigh of relief and not another of grief is all I ask.
Where are you?
Are you with someone else?
Is he good to you?
Does he hold you close and whisper things in your ear?
Does he give you his jacket and endure the cold?
Does he even care?
Where are you?
How much longer until our paths cross?
I'm not perfect, but I will try for you.
I will change for you: turn my world around.
Where are you?
How much longer must I suffer alone?
My hands are cold.
My cheeks are wet.
My heart is dying.
Will I ever find you?
Where are you?
Fill this empty seat next to me.
Squeeze my hand to make sure I have not left.
Lean on me when you are weary.
I would never let anything happen to you.
I would give my last breath
To ensure you could breath just one more.
That is why I'm here.
I'm here.
But, where are you?
